Treble Bass – Bristol Free School Jazz Band
Jazz | Saturday 6th July | 2.50 pm | Sparrow Crane Hire Community Stage |
Treble Bass is a 15 member strong jazz band, with students ranging from 13 to 18 years old. They perform a range of jazz standards and one or two original numbers too.
They have performed at the Bristol International Jazz and Blues Festival and legendary Bristol venue The Old Duke. Audiences have said that they sound quite unlike any school band they have heard before!

The Old Town Reclamation String Band
Acoustic rock | Saturday 6th July | 6 pm | Sparrow Crane Hire Community Stage |
The Old Town Reclamation String Band is large and unusual group of people united by a gleeful desire to resuscitate the music and attitude of skiffle. So we play old American folk tunes, some rock and roll, a bit of country, and anything else that’s simple and catchy enough for us.
From Bath with Keynsham musicians ………. including a real Keynsham Festival veteran, George, who has been involved in Festival performances from the very beginning – the very first in fact. Something of an achievement!
