International Abbey Road (Yes, ABBEY ROAD!!) artist Saskia Griffiths-Moore takes her new album ‘Baez, Dylan & me’ on a worldwide tour!
Starting out in life as a Harley Street therapist, she is now often compared to a young Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell for her clear vocals and melody-led songwriting and her original songs draw on Roots, Americana and Folk influences. In the last four years as a full time, international touring artist, she has been featured six times on Sky TV’s Folk Show (2017, 2018), and both her albums have found their way onto national BBC radio, as well as garnering 4&5 star reviews in RnR and Maverick Magazine.
Awarded 3 grants from Arts Council England, as a proudly independent artist Saskia has also managed to pull on the heartstrings of her fans to crowdfund her projects on Kickstarter, and has proven to be one of the most popular, fan-funded music creators on there. She currently flaunts two guitar endorsements, and remains a resident of London, which fulfills her need for culture but not nature, and she tours years round if for no other reason, than to enjoy the scenery.
Rich vocals and lush, swooning cello are the defining features of Furlined, a Bristol band formed by singer-songwriter Neil Crossley and cellist Tegan Everett. Delta blues and alt country influences blend with wry English chamber pop sensibilities in a hybrid that one magazine described as “Morrissey meets Americana – superb songs with an irresistible English wit”. MOJO magazine was equally impressed. In a 4/5 review of second album Win A Dream Wedding, it concluded: “Songwriter Neil Crossley has one of those winning, strong yet gentle Jackie Leven / Richard Hawley baritones that do male vulnerability beautifully. Furlined’s other striking sound is Tegan Everett’s cello, which intros most of Crossley’s dark-honey melodies… A band with distinct aural charms.”

Led by the ethereal combination of Lara Snowdon’s vocals, and Kathryn Tremlett’s violin; Velvet & Stone’s music draws upon personal stories, melancholy tales and rugged landscapes, creating a sound that is difficult to forget.
